Impact Directories' residential and some business information originates from publicly available local telephone records and other sources of public information. Examples of these local telephone carriers are Qwest–Dex, Verizon, Telecomm, etc. Those who do not want their residential contact information included in such publications should not only inform their telephone utility company, but notify Impact Directories as well. We have found that many of our customers who request to be removed from our listings have not been listed in other books. Some landline subscribers pay extra money each month to prevent being published or listed; yet our vendors still provide that information to us. We are working with those information vendors to prevent such listings from appearing in our books in the future.
