Impact Directories supplies proofs for many of it's clients. These proofs are printed on an in-house office printer. The printing process from this in-house office printer from that of the Web Press that creates the directories differs dramatically. The media or paper used for supplying proofs also is different than that of the newsprint used in the directories and color will display differently on both. Based on these uncontrollable variables, color accuracy from our in-house printer to what will be printed in the directory will be impossible to reproduce. To confront this issue, Impact employs a team of skilled graphic designers who understand these limitations and how the final product will look through experience. Many times these designers will make decisions on how color and type are used on your display ad to help ensure a better overall final product. If color accuracy is a concern for your advertisement, please consult with your sales representative about options to control color accuracy on your final product. One of the best solutions is to choose a swatch of color used in one of the Impact Directories as a reference to the color you might be requesting. The Impact designers will have access to all previous advertisers display ads and can use similar color mixtures on your ad to control color accuracy. |
